Detailed Description

Stevioside (CNS: 19.008; INS: 960), also known as stevioside, is a glycoside extracted from the leaves of the Compositae plant Stevia Rebaudia (the plant in our country called Stevia rebaudiana). Stevia is native to Paraguay and Brazil. Now it is grown in China, Singapore, Malaysia and other countries. Its sweet taste is composed of stevioside and stevia glycosides A, B, C, D and E glycosides. Stevioside can be extracted from dried leaves with water, clarified and crystallized, the actual production of three types were obtained, respectively, the crude extract and the purity of 50% and 90% of the products
